The Spirit of truth John 14:15-19
“If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever - the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.
Take a moment for these words to sit at peace within you.
It is not our task to analyse them, but to notice what rises within us.
Prayer
We know the Spirit at our deepest level, for the Father sent him. Our prayer is that we awaken to the Spirit – active in our lives. Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created and thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Amen.
