Mindfulness

"My mind is so busy if only I could quieten it for a moment."

If our head is full of stuff, it won't be easy to sort things out. But there are ways to quiet things down and to find peace in the chaos. The how-to is different for everybody and is best when you find your special way.

Where is your safe place? Walking, sitting in your room, looking out the window, listening to music, drawing, colouring or writing.

Spend a moment listening to your heartbeat and your breathing. Let things slow down and imagine water (your worries) emptying down the plug-hole. This is mindfulness, not worrying about the things of the past – they have gone. Not worrying about the future – it hasn’t arrived yet. Being in the present moment is all there is. Here we find positive solutions, where thoughts are created away from the buzz.

Mindfulness is a powerful tool that helps our mind to be the best it can be – it creates contentment and happiness. The more we practice (just 2-3 minutes) 4-5 times a day, you will soon see the benefits.

You will spend more time talking to yourself than anyone else in the Universe. So, why not make your conversations fun, encouraging and loving? The more we learn about ourselves, the more quickly we will advance in this game of life.
