Staying Safe

There are toxic areas we should take care of when entering. The Internet can be a wonderful place but can also be quite a harmful or toxic place.

There is a need to be aware of what we are doing online, and if you see something that doesn’t seem quite right; it’s probably time to exit. Be brave, and speak up about something before things get out of hand. It’s too easy to follow the group - to be persuaded to do things, you know that are unsafe.

Step away – Stay safe!

Bullying

Bullying seems to be so common these days, a form of suffering, which comes from so many sources.

Bullying is when a person or a group of people with more power, repeatedly cause hurt or harm to another person or group of people; those who feel helpless to respond. This can be both verbal or a physical form of bullying and can happen anywhere – at home, school, on the street or over social media and gaming.

Talk it through with someone you trust.

Domestic
Violence

Domestic violence does not have to be physical, it’s like bullying and happens at home. Many, including children and young people, witness and suffer from domestic violence.

It’s not your fault, talk to someone you can trust.
